About Billinghay and District Community Pool

Billinghay and District Community Pool is a community venture, run by community volunteers for the community. The pool opens annually from May to September. During the school term it is open in the evenings and at weekends. During the school holidays it is open for several sessions each day. There are dedicated adult only swim sessions, Babies, Tots & Perinatal sessions, Aqua Zumba and this year we are launching our own swimming lessons for children in Years 1-6.

In 1972 , the villagers of Billinghay got together and built themselves a swimming pool. Today, volunteer-run, it is a popular leisure facility serving a wide area. It is an outdoor, heated, secluded pool, a full 25mx10m, with a maximum depth of 2m. For the kids (mainly!) there are two slides. Our reception is always staffed by volunteers to help you with any queries or serve up a variety of hot and cold drinks and other refreshments! So come on over to visit us! And if you don't fancy getting in, you can just laze around on our sunloungers, whichever takes your fancy. So..... Next time you feel the need to relax, why not give us a thought; after all, it is you we are here for.

Established in 1972

Our swimming pool started in 1972 and is still going strong, thanks to the local community.
